What is WISMO?
WISMO is an AI companion designed to help you slow down, reflect on your thoughts, and better understand yourself — at your own pace, in your own language.
The name WISMO stands for What Is on My Mind. It captures what we believe the service is fundamentally about: a private space to articulate what you are thinking and feeling, without judgement and without pressure.
What WISMO is not
WISMO is not a mental health service, medical provider, or substitute for professional care.
It does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide any form of clinical support. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need professional help, please reach out to a qualified healthcare provider or a crisis line in your country.
How it works
You type what is on your mind. WISMO listens, reflects back, and asks gentle questions to help you explore your thoughts more deeply. There is no script, no agenda, and no evaluation.
WISMO uses large language model (LLM) technology to understand and respond to what you share. Responses are generated by AI — they are not written or reviewed by a human in real time.
WISMO is available in English and Finnish. You can write in whichever language feels most natural to you.
Who WISMO is for
WISMO is for adults aged 18 and over who want a quiet, private space to think things through. It is particularly useful when you want to:
- process something that happened during your day;
- articulate a feeling that is hard to put into words;
- reflect on a decision or a situation you are navigating;
- simply feel heard, without needing to explain everything to another person.
Your privacy
We take privacy seriously, especially given the personal nature of what you might share with WISMO. Your conversations are stored only to provide continuity across sessions. We do not sell your data and we do not use your conversations to train AI models.
You can delete all your conversations at any time from your account settings. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
